Where families find the right place
Finding childcare, a school, an after-school activity or a life skills class is one of the hardest searches a family makes. Ellerna puts those programs in one place to learn about, compare and apply to, and gives the people who run them one place to run their day. It is made by Mindtris in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Why we built it
Finding the right place should not be this hard
Ask any family how they found their child’s daycare, school or swim class: a neighbour’s tip, a waitlist joined on a hunch, a dozen tabs and a phone call that never came back. Families spend weeks looking for a place they can trust, and most of what they need to know is nowhere to be found. The people who run those places have the opposite problem: their week goes to attendance on paper, tuition in a spreadsheet, updates in a group chat and enrollment forms in a filing cabinet. Ellerna is one place for both: where a family learns about the childcare, schools, activities and life skills programs around them and applies, and where the program runs its day.
